Meet Dr. Melissa Brown

Dr. Melissa Brown completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001.

Dr. Brown believes that learning is a lifelong process. In this pursuit, she is certified with Invisalign® technology and is also a member of several prestigious associations, including the American Dental Association and the Great Plains Study Club.

Among her long-time ‘calling cards’ are her gentle demeanor and chairside manner, which have translated into strong loyalty and a large patient following. The majority of the new faces Dr. Brown sees in the office are due to existing-patient referrals.

She performs the highest quality of care in all facets of dentistry, including restorative, endodontics, and cosmetics. Whether your need is replacing missing teeth, veneers, teeth whitening, a root canal, or anything else, Dr. Brown’s experience and care will help guide you through the process.

A lifelong resident of Overland Park, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her husband, Greg Skoch, and her children: John, Charlie, and Lindy. After hours, you will find her at either baseball, football, or soccer practice, if not at a dance recital. She also enjoys attending local sporting events such as University of Kansas basketball and Kansas City Royals baseball games.
